The Don Morrison Room

The Don Morrison Room at Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club provides the perfect back drop for your wedding reception.

Perched above the iconic Cottesloe Beach the Don Morrison room has panoramic views of Cottesloe Beach and Rottnest Island and provides the best viewing point on the entire metropolitan coast for our famous Perth sunsets.

With four double glass doors that open up to a sweeping balcony facing North West there is simply no better venue for a costal wedding!  

Available to book on Saturdays throughout the year, the room can hold 130pax cocktail style or 100pax sit down.

Venue Hire includes access to:

-        10 x round tables (1.8m diameter)

-        100 x chairs with black chair covers

-        8 x cocktail tables

-        32 x bar stools

-        2 x trestle tables with black covers

-        Floating dance floor

-        In-house AV/PA system

Items available at additional cost:

-        White linen table cloths

-        White chair covers (50 available)

The Don Morrison room is also available to be hired ‘clean’ and 3rd party hire furniture can be used if preferred. Please note there is no difference in venue hire costs when hiring as a ‘clean’ venue.

DJs and live music are also welcomed!!

Food & Beverage

Food: Cottesloe SLSC does not offer a food service so the hiring party can self cater or utilise a caterer of their choice. We recommend Ultimo Catering and Events who specialise in weddings and special occasions.

The Club has a commercial grade kitchen for use including 2 x large ovens, working bench, cold storage and cleaning station.

Bar: Bar is available for 5hr timeslots wit the latest end time being final drinks called at 11.30pm.

Drinks: Cottesloe SLSC is strictly a NO BYO venue and all drinks must be purchased from the Club bar. Drink packages are sold on consumption only with a $2,000 minimum spend per event.

Please note we do not order specific drinks in for individual events or offer cocktail making services.

To secure a booking a $75 non refundable deposit will be required to hold your date. A further pre payment will be required one month before the event and then the final balance paid in full no later than one week prior to the event.
