Long Service Membership Application
If you have completed 10 years Active Service at Cottesloe SLSC including any previous active membership at other surf life saving club/s and have complied with the rules, regulations and policies whilst a member at all clubs and have complied with the Club, SLSWA & SLSA Codes of Conduct as contained in the by-laws and current surf sports manual then you may apply for Long Service Membership.
To apply for long service membership simply download the application form (below) complete the sections including listing your patrol hours per season and any other service to the Club during the period and send to manager@cottsurf.com
Your application will then be submitted to the Management Committee for consideration.
SLSWA
Working With Children Checks
Cottesloe SLSC takes its obligation to provide a safe environment for our children extremely seriously. As a volunteer organisation that undertakes a large volume of child related work, Cottesloe SLSC requires ALL financial members (excluding exemptions) to hold a valid working With Children (WWC) card.
The WWC check policy was updated to include ALL financial members (excluding exemptions) by the Management Committee at the beginning of the 2021/22 season and communicated to members via the CottMail and by our Member Protection Officer.
The WWC check aims to protect children by:
in 2022/23 you will not be able to become a financial member of Cottesloe SLSC unless you have obtained a valid WWC card.
