TOAD / Rise Up Camps / Rookie Lifeguard
TOAD (teamwork, opportunities and development) Camp
T.O.A.D. Camp is a development program open to U14 & U15 youth members.
The camp is designed to expose participants to a variety of skills and activities that will enhance and encourage their development within SLSWA. It is important for building inter club youth friendships. There is also an opportunity to obtain qualifications that will assist in their ongoing development towards being a volunteer patrolling surf lifesaver.
DATE: 6th January – 9th January 2025

RISE-UP
Rise-Up Camp caters for U17 youth members (those aged15 and 16-years).
The camp provides an opportunity for members to participate in a wide range of physical and social activities that will develop personal leadership skills. It is important for building inter club youth friendships. There is also an opportunity to obtain qualifications that will assist in their ongoing development towards being a volunteer patrolling surf lifesaver.
If you would like to represent Cottesloe SLSC at this season Rise-Up camp, please email a short 1/2 - 1 page submission to development@cottsurf.com outlining why you think you should be chosen. Please include examples of leadership you have demonstrated over the years at Cottesloe and how you have engaged in Cottesloe Surf Club with its members across the different pillars of surf lifesaving.

ROOKIE LIFEGUARD PROGRAM
Aims to see Rookies gain exposure and skills directly related to employment as a lifeguard and other support Operation functions within SLSWA.
